Won't create full backup after differential backup

Thread needs solution

I have Acronis set to create a full backup after 6 differential backups. Acronis will not create a full backup after 6 or more differential backups. It just continues to create differential backups. Why? I have tried editing the task to now avail.

I appreciate you found time to share your experience with us and will be glad to help you. Unfortunately due to the lack of diagnostic information it is difficult to identify the exact cause of the issue. I would suggest you though to try the following: 

  1. Delete the tasks as mentioned in this KB article
  2. Update the Scheduler
  3. Recreate the task

This may help to resolve the issue you've faced.

Should the problem be present, please obtain the following diagnostic information:

  1. Acronis Info
  2. Screenshot of the backup location
  3. Screenshot of the backup settings
