Wrong HDD size detected in Non-Stop Backup dialog

Thread needs solution

Hello, I'm running TI 2010 test version on Win 7 64bit. I tried to use the nonstop backup feature but having the following issues: 1) I selected HDD C: for testing - now I'm not able anymore to remove this setup. The OK button only appear when I select another drive. However on all other drives I selected, the message appear that the backup partition is not acceptable (to small). 2) The HDD capacity of drive D: is shown with 2.269TB in CDP dialog, however it is just 1.2TB for this partition. When check the capacity in the standard backup dialog it match the real value. Hence, I'm not able to remove my test drive C: now and add a new one, even I just want to backup one folder on D: and put all other in the exception list. The total capacity I selected is just 140GB. The backup destination drive 300GB. Does anyone have any idea?

Hi,

I can confirm the disc size problem. My destination disc is 1,3 TB but it is shown as 2,3 TB in the nonstop setup dialog. Therefore I expect an "out of space" problem when it fills up because TI is calculating with the wrong value for freespace. So consolidation may not take place in time.

Hi,

thanks for your confirmation.

Is Acronis aware of this problem?
I would appreciate to get some official statement.

Many thanks.

Stefan
