WTF? - Purchased new TI2010 and PlusPack
I purchased the TI2010 Update and Plus Pack today. The credit card charge was done flawlessly.
Getting my software download was another story.........
The web page and email both said the same thing:
"1 Acronis True Image Home 2010 Plus Pack* (English)*add-on to Acronis True Image 2010 – requires Acronis True Image 2010 to be installed electronic
There has been a problem while processing your delivery. We are already working on this technical issue and may be waiting for information from the software publisher, which may cause short delay. At the latest, this should be solved within 1-2 workdays, although it is generally much less. We will contact you immediately via e-mail upon resolving the issue and apologize for any inconvenience."
I've purchased dozens of software programs over the Internet but have never seen one of these before. Am I the only one sitting with a credit card charge and a promise to eventually deliver the program "within 1 or 2 workdays"?? WTF???

have you registered the serial and is the plus pack available from your download site. I don't know. I am just providing a place to look.

Great suggestion Grover, and one I had not considered!
Unfortunately the Acronis web site shows the following:
"Acronis True Image 2010 Plus Pack (English)
Build # 6053 November 23, 2009 0.0 MB"
Gotta' believe that they are having some type of problem! Gotta' wonder WHY they sell this to unsuspecting customers, and then, after collecting payment, have no download ready. WTF??

I'm highly dissapointed - unfortunately the online chat support is closed right now, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow to give them a piece of my mind

You are entitled to a refund if you are not satisfied with th product and ask for a refund within 30 days. I don't think Acronis's policy has changed in that regard. In most states it is unlawful to charge your card before delivery is actually initiated. So you are entitled to a refund for that reason also.
If Acronis doesn't provide a refund, you can file a claim with your cred card issuer -- this will take a long time to be settled and customer cred card claims generally generate a claims processing charge for the merchant no matter how the claim is decided.
Giving a piece of your mind to Chat probably won't do anything more than make the person hired to answer the Chat line feel bad; Acronis won't feel a thing.

Thanks to all for recommendations.
I just received an email 15 minutes ago with a valid download link and a second serial number. It appears my problem is now solved! Hopefully others in the same situation will also receive notification as I did.

I agree, it's not the chat operator's fault for these errors and me "giving them a piece of my mind" wouldn't solve the root problem.
They did however followed up on the issue - like in Larry's case - and sent me a message with the serial number and valid download link.
Things got back to normal :)

I had the same problem but noticed the version of Acronis I was running wasn't currrent. I updated to the current version and then downloaded and installed the Plus Pack. I just need to find out how to use the Plus Pack.

Having paid for the "Plus Pack" and downloaded the TrueImage2010PlusPack.6029_s_uk.exe file.
The installer would not install with the message "The following component (English version) must be previously installed. Acronis True Image Home 2010 (13.0.6053)." Having paid for the Acronis True Image home 2010 which is on my computer - why wont the plus pack install ??

The PlusPack requires build 6053 of True Image Home 2010, and apparently you have build 6029. You need to first update TI to build 6053.
