Xp activation at first boot after restore

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I have recently update to true image 2011 from 2009 product. With 2011 version I have made a backup of a service machine with xp activated ad updated, then I use that image for rapid reinstall of some clients (with universal restore).
After restore windows ask me to activate before the first login, so I must every time activate by phone because the hardware isn't recognized yet and I have no lan connection yet.
With 2009 version I was able to make the first login, configure hardware, then change the product key with the one of the particular pc, and then correclty web activate XP.

What's wrong?

There is a way to log in at first boot after restore?

Any suggest is really wellcome

Thank's

Marvin,

Make sure you restore the disk signature at the last restore step.

If y ou're =installing to diff machines, then windows will detectd that it's booting from a diff machine and eventually this will trigger the activation software and eventually no longer allow on-line activation but require phone calls. This is how MS deters the piracy of using the same license on many machines.
