Acorns True Image - 2015

Thread needs solution

One feature I liked about prior versions of True Image was the ability to create folder/file backups and to keep these folders/files in sync. I am evaluating True Image 2015 at it appears this is not an option. Can you confirm.

If not, then what is the major differences between time machine & true image for mac?

Hello William,

backing up on file/folder level is really not available in Acronis True Image for Mac at the moment.

As for the differences with Time Machine, here are the key points:

- Acronis True Image supports backing up to Cloud

- Acronis True Image supports backup compression

- Acronis True Image has more flexible scheduling

- Acronis True Image can back up Parallels virtual Windows machine in its active state etc.

More about Acronis True Image for Mac key features you can read here.

Thank you.

If it works... My Acronis jobs fails at 20% everytime... And if i use Time Machine there are no problems...

Hello Pim Postma,

could you please provide Acronis System Report for investigation (please refer to the KB article https://kb.acronis.com/macinfo)?

Thank you in advance,
Kind regards,
