Acronis true image 2019 - clone disk added a new partition on my main disk

Thread needs solution

Hello,

on MACOS 10.15.6, Acronis true image 2019, I tried to do a clone of my main disk, on an external USB disk.

the clone did not work, and stopped after few second, with error.

now, on my main disk, when I startup my MacBook Pro, it start on a special partition, which reinstall MACOS.

when I start my MacBook, using the ALT key to list the disk, I can start on my usual partition, and work properly.

the install partition is not visible when I am logged on my user account.

How can I get rid of this, I didn't found any option in Acronis to do that, and didn't see any information about adding a new partition when doing clone of disk.

thanks for any help.

Hello Olivier,

if you have a backup of your Mac, you can try restoring from this backup. Please note that macOS Catalina(10.15) is only supported starting from Update 1 (Build 21810) of Acronis True Image 2020
