Hello Thomas Reimann.

You cannot back up network drive as a device, but you can back up it's contents as files and folders.
First you need to mount your network drive to your Mac using Finder's "Connect to Server" option from "Go" menu.
After you mount your network drive, you can see it under "Shared" on the left pane of "Files and folders" selection window.
Keep in mind that new folders added into the root directory of network drive, after you already have created a backup plan, will not be backed up. You need to modify backup plan so that it includes newly created folders. In order to make it easier to backup whole contents of network drive, you can move all folders of root directory to one folder and add new folders inside this one when needed, in this case there will be no need to modify backup plan.

Thank you.

Hello Ruslan,

thanks for you answer.

I've mounted my network drive. But in the acronis "select source" window there are only the local drives listed, i can's see my network folder.

Best regards,
Thomas

Hello Thomas Reimann,

I guess you have Acronis True Image 2015 installed on your Mac. Files and folders back up feature was not implemented in that product. This feature is now available in Acronis True Image 2016 so you need to upgrade to back up your network drive contents.

Thank you.

Hello Ruslan,

thanks! I've upgraded to Acronis 2016 and can select the network folder to backup it.

But if i do so, i get the error "The Backup was uncomplete". What's wrong?

Best regards,

Thomas

Hello Thomas Reimann,

please describe exact steps you take when getting this error.
What is the destination for backup? Is there enough space for backup?
At what point of the process you get the error?

Thank you.
