"The disk is full."

Thread needs solution

Hi, folks:

Has anyone else come across this issue?

I'm running a full backup for the first time on a freshly-formatted external drive. The external drive is 1TB, while the drive being backed up is just 256GB.

Issue: The backup completes roughly 3-5% of the task before presenting the error message, "The disk is full." When viewing the log, I see plenty of alerts like the following example:

"2014-10-05T15:25:42.686 | 1 | 0x017 | 0x0000 | The largest physical address for DataTree is 655433, count is 4."

After which, the log says that the snapshot was successfully deleted and that, as mentioned, the disk is full.

I'm guessing that the desk isn't full. It's recognized as 1TB and I can drag-and-drop files to it. But something is wrong and I'd appreciate any suggestions for troubleshooting the problem.

I am backing up 130 GO of a 256 GO SSD type internal hard drive on an External 256 GO SSD type and it gives me 2 files:

The 1rst .TIB comes to 223 GO

The 2nd .TIB METADATA 126 MO

What gives?

My ext drive will give the DISK FULL to before long

What is the matter with this application which is supposed to increment after the first backup?
