Disk full--how do I delete old backups?

Thread needs solution

The manual for True Image states not to directly delete backup files but my NAS is full of old backups and the Mac version for Acronis doesn't seem to have any way to delete files.

So, how do I get rid of old backups to free up space? How do I set Aronis in the future to NOT use more than 4 TB and to start erasing old backups once that space limit is reached?

Hi John,
This is a paragraph from Acronis True Image for Mac user guide that describes the way clean up rules work:

Every time you run a backup operation, manually or on a schedule, Acronis True Image 2015 creates
a new backup version in the backup location. A maximum of 10 versions are stored in one location.
This rule applies to both Acronis Cloud and local or network folders. When you create the eleventh
version, Acronis True Image 2015 automatically deletes the oldest version of the backup. As a result,
you always have the ten most recent backup versions.

Do you have mode than 10 backup versions?

Thank you,

Hello John,
it is a known issue, that by deleting the backups located on share via "-" button in console - the .tib files on share are not deleted.
In this case you can delete the not needed .tib files manually.

Kind regards,
