Mac Version. Previous backup image not seen by True Image

Thread needs solution

Hi!

My Acronis True Image software [latest build available] for Mac is not seeing my backup image anymore.

This backup image is on an external firewire hard drive. The hard drive is seen as i was able to create a new backup image on it.

Is there way to access the previous backup image?

I do not see a way to add a previous backup image within the Mac version of True Image 2015.

Right now i have 4 files on the backup drive. [see attached file]

Thanks

Hello Michel,

if you have deleted the backup via Acronis True Image for Mac GUI using 'minus' button - your archive (.tib and .tib.metadata files) on the external hard drive will stay but you will not be capable to continue backup to the same archive. You will be able to restore from the archive (via Acronis Bootable Media or via 'Recover Files from Existing Backup').

So you have the access to this backup - in this case for restore.
But you do not have access to this backup for continuing the backup.

If I understood you right, you would like to have such feature available: to be able to add an existing backup to the backup list and to be able to continue backing up to the existing archive.
You request has been registered and will be reported to the UX and program managers.

Thank you.
Kind regards,
