More than one backup process at the same time

Thread needs solution

I installed ATI 2015 on my Mac mini OSX10.8 with no problem. I defined a backup of the internal bootdisk to an external USB-Drive. Worked with nö problem. Set the the planning to daily 4:00 AM. Then I created a second backup to a NAS. Nö problem with the definition. Started last afternoon and is still running (9:AM about 80% finished) for 400GB/100Mbit Network. So far so god. Checking the other backup I defined first, there was no entry in the interface.

Here my question:
Is it possible to run two backups simultanously?
If not, will the other backup start, after the other has finished?

TIA

Patience sells!
Right after finishing the long initial back to the NAS, the waiting 4:00AM backup to the local USB-Drive started right away.
Would be great to have an overview of backup tasks with status (planned / waiting / running / suceeded / faild) in the interface application.
Doing two (or more) backups at once wouldn't be a problem for a MAC. Are there other difficulties realizing this?

TIA

Hello Christian,

thank you for your postings.

Your requests concerning missing info in the application interface on the status 'waiting' (we call it 'in queue') and the 'next backup start time' were registered as TIMAC-616 and TIMAC-2322 and will be reported to the program and UX managers.
For another backup statuses we have status in the main window for failed, succeeded and running backups.

Concerning your question, if Acronis True Image for Mac can perform several backup tasks simultaneuosly:
the application performs only one backup operation at time, but several backup processes can be in 'queue'. That is by design behaviour.

Please let us know, if any further comments, suggestions or questions.

Thank you.
Kind regards,
