[RESOLVED] ATTENTION ACRONIS SUPPORT - BOOT MEDIA FOR 2016 DOES NOT WORK
The boot media created for Acronis 2016 for Mac does NOT work. THere are other threads about this. You need to fix this immediately please. THe product is not very useful if it can't recover your machine. It starts booting to the media then just stops and the progress bar sits there.

Today I got a new information from the Acronis Support Team:
"Due to the complex nature of your reported case I run on our team of experts to find the proper solution in this case. Because may be consulted experts of different disciplines, the analysis of the incident may take some time to complete."
I am wondering why nobody checked the functionality of the Acronis boot media made under El Capitan before they start with the sale of this product !!!

Acronis has obviously great problems to solve these software bug. Today I got this information: "Your case has been forwarded to Development Department. You will be informed about the status of your case within four weeks."
WARNING: Acronis True Image for Mac can not built und El Capitan a recovery media which can boot a Mac. So Acronis True Image is under El Capitan completly useless in the moment !

No known issues corresponding to your problem have been reported yet. I see that a Support case was created, but our engineers haven't received the information that is necessary for investigation. If you are willing to continue investigation, please reply to the last email in the case and attach the requested logs.

To anyone who might be experiencing the same issue, please try selecting the boot USB while holding down the Options button and don't set this boot USB as a default startup device.

In the last days I had a long telefon call with a support staff about the problem that the recovery media does not start my iMac. Now I can inform that the problem was solved and we had in the time before a misunderstandig. If you make a recovery media with Acronis True Image you should never boot the Mac by selecting the recovery media as startup device in the settings of the Mac. In this case the recovery media is rendered useless. You should boot the Mac only while holding down the Option button during the booting procedure and then choosing the recovery media. Then the recovery media can boot the Mac.
On this way "Thank You Very Much" for the help of the support staff to solve this problem. I hope that this little problem will be away in the next version of Acronis True Image.
