Search for different file versions across backups?

Thread needs solution

Hello, I'm currently running an eval of TI2020 on Mac 10.15 / Catalina. Via the 'recovery' tab I can search for a file name, but the search box applies to the backup instance selected before beginning to type. Is there a way to see all versions of a file listed so you can more easily choose which to restore?

Ah, thanks, I see what I was missing now.  I did not realize the "Version" column was not static information.  I was expecting it to show me four versions of a file, with a line item for each; instead it lets me switch the displayed version to the one I want to restore.  Unfortunately as I change versions, it does not seem to update the date modified and size columns.  Is that expected or perhaps bug / issue in this version and/or Mac release?

Sorry, I am not a Mac user so have never tried doing this type of operation outside of Windows.

The only suggestion would be to try restoring the different versions of the file and put these in different temp locations based on the date of the version you are restoring from, then check if the files actually do retain their original file date/time stamp or not?
