Settings for schedule getting deleted

Thread needs solution

On Mac Big Sur I create a backup and in settings include a schedule to run on a daily basis.  After the backup runs during the night, the settings for the schedule are gone.  There is a label in the user interface that says "No Schedule".  Also, there is a message that says "This backup was added manually or via auto-search.  Additionally, the green dot next to the name for the backup changes from green to blue.

I am using the latest update for Mac Big Sur and the latest True Image 2021 build 25.6.35810.

This issue did not happen until I upgraded from True Image 2019.

Is there a change needed in order to retain the schedule?

Hello Kreg,

if there are any mapped shares, attached drives or other sources containing the old backups accessible for Acronis True Image, the upgrade night cause the auto-rescan of all accessible sources for existing backups and re-adding them to the UI. You may want either removing the backups, if you don't want to continue backing up into the selected archive, or reconfiguring them.

In my case, all of the backups on the attached drive are already shown in the UI.  Only one of the backups has a schedule for a daily backup.  The issue is that something causes the schedule to get removed and the daily backup does not run.

Is there any change I can make to be sure the schedule does not get removed?

Hello Kreg,

thank you for additional details! In that case I'd recommend opening a support ticket for investigation, so that the support engineers can analyze the diagnostic information from your Mac and find the root cause for the issue.

I was able to resolve the issue by doing a full uninstall using this cleanup script:
