Started backup 3-days ago. Only on 3%

Thread needs solution

I thoight Acronis True Image Backup for Mobile was going to be nice, until I bought it and tried it.

I installed the app, logged in, and started the backup 3-days ago.

On the 2nd day (yesterday) it had only backed up 1%.

Today, it is on 3%.

WTF?

Does this product run in the background, or do I need to stay in the app the whole time?

What's taking so long?

Is this normal, because if it is, I will ask for a refund?

Have not seen this one for a while - I hoped it had been fixed.

Some more information would help. Are you using Android or iOS device? Are you backing up to the Cloud or to a PC?

Not sure if this is the case with the current build, but at one time the device had to be charging for the backup to happen. It mahy have been an option.

That said, my initial backup took a long time to complete. Also, the % seem to be for each category of data, not the entire task. If you have a lot of photos it will take a while.

You best option may be to talk to tech support via livechat.

iOS 10

There is a setting for backing up, either when the iPad is on, or when charging only.

I had it set to on. Right now, after 4 days, it's at 7%.

I guess I'll talk to trch support.

I wonder if their app is updated for iOS 10?
