Acronis CyberProtectHomeOffice - Unfit for Purpose
As a long time user of Acronis TrueImage and a qualified Micrsoft Network Engineer I am stopping using Acronis products.
The problems experienced relate expressly to the use of the current version of Acronis Application and a Dell Precision 7670.
1. The use of a bootable Flash Memory stick for restoring fails (no active mouse and keyboard and no access to internal SSD).
2. The use of the Universal Restore process fails (no active mouse and keyboard and no access to internal SSD)
3. Restoration of a the laptop's boot drive backup is not possible since it requires a warm boot which fails to carry out the Acronis process and boots into the BIOS.
The 'support' provided by Acronis support staff has been a compl;ete waste of time. My impression is that they have very little knowledge and ceratinly no conscientious attitude to helping Acronis clients.
I'm now looking for a better backup application to replace the faulty Acronis product.
Why don't Acronis provide a means of getting help from Switzerland?
