Thread needs solution

For some reason, today when I try to bring up this forum section, I only the 2 newest threads. Don't see anyway to see the rest.

The home page and links have gone awry.

You'll need to remove the kb - URL and use the forum.acronis.com/forum.

But then you must have done that to be able to post this.

So ..... what else is new! Typical, isn't it ... no other forum I read has this many problems.

Seems about right forums that don't work for a POS product that doesn't work. If anyone is reading these forums and haven't yet purchased Acornis software, SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF GRIEF AND DON'T!!!!!!!

Same here, what the hell is going on - where are all the threads? Why didn't this forum just stay with Wilders?

Hey, this is the easy way to solve all TI problems, just delete them. :-)

Wish I read this forum b4 I purchased ATI 2010. I have 2 OS's on my PC, WinXP SP3 and Windows 7, each on different disks. I bought Acronis based on its once rock solid reputation. So far, backups and incremental backups seem to work, although I haven't tried restoring from the CD. I bought ATI for the nonstop backup feature. Too bad nonstop backup "stops" under XP and 7. Also, until I switched my external drive from firewire to USB 2.0, ATI 2010 would either hang or take 30 to 90 minutes to "analyze" my WDMyBook external drive under Windows 7.

Until now, I was optimistic that Acronis would fix these issues during the update cycle that all too often these days follows any company's initial "cross your fingers and hope it works" release of new software. However, seeing that Acronis cannot properly handle a reorganization of its web pages makes me question whether I can trust them to properly backup my data.

The problem might well be due to an incorrect mapping at the various DNS servers around the world. It does happen occasionally - though it's just as likely someone did something at Acronis' end.

Hello all,

Please accept apologies for the inconvenience.

No threads were deleted, the issue was that links were incorrectly pointing to kb.acronis.com instead of forum.acronis.com. It was possible to manually navigate to the appropriate Forum section/thread by manually replacing 'kb' with 'forum'.

The issue is fixed. At this moment I do not have information regarding the reasons of this behavior but I would try to provide update as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Hello all,

The reason of this behavior was related to the issue with URL generating mechanism. We have fixed it and added some improvements.

Thanks,
