Inadequacy of TextBox Size for a"Starting New Thread" and "Reply"

I don't know why no one has complained about this; maybe it's because I'm getting old, or from a different generation,...

i submit that the size of the Start-A-Thread textbox (the instant textbox) should be made larger.

and, a fortiori, the size of the Reply-To ["Post New Comment"] text box is woefully too small.
