Issue with identifying New posts

Thread needs solution

When I see there are new postings on a thread and I go to that thread, there are two ways I can get to the new postings.

1. Scroll down until I see the green New indicator on a post.

2. Click the Last Post arrow at the top to get me there quicker.

The problem is that once I click that arrow, the green New indicator will no longer appear on the new posts so I need to go back and look at date/time info.

I have noticed the same thing. Also sometimes there are new post but it is not flagged in the listing. New threads are not clearly identified (other than being in bold which sometimes is hard to differentiate.

BrunoC,

there should be a separate button like on the screenshot below

It appears if the topic has new comments and directs straight to the new comments

Ian,

we'll add the green indicators NEW to all not visited topics. This change is already on the staging server and will be deployed along with the other developed features, once they are ready.

Thanks, Ekaterina. I missed that.

I just cannot find the 'new topic' in the ATI 2019 forum that gives rise to the count of 1 new shown in the image below!

I have looked through 11 pages of the forum and clicked on 'Mark all read' on each page all to no avail.  We really need a button that works for this purpose, or else as happened in the old forum software, the ability to click on '1 new' and be taken to that new topic!

I am also facing same issue of New threads are not clearly identified (other than being in bold which sometimes is hard to differentiate.

thanks for this was helpful for me
