topic ended up in wrong forum

Thread needs solution

I started a topic; Cloud Storage; within the ATI 2020 forum but it ended up in the Non-Product-Related! How did this happen and please move it.

Hi Frank, there is a bug in the forum software that from time to time results in new post ending up in the non-product related area. It is extremely annoying. The forum moderation Ekaterina will move the post to the correct forum. This usually happens within a day (except at weekends).

I'm having a similar issue. a couple new topics I posted are not visible unless I go to my account and then to topics created.

 

I'm pretty sure I used to be on this forum about 8-9 years ago, but have not had any issues with True Image (v11) since then so I haven't pestered anyone. I had a lot of "fun" back then, but eventually got everything sorted out, with help from Grover, and a few others. I had to re-register because my id must have been purged due to non-use.

Hi Mike,

posts of all new users on forum undergo moderation, hence some delay in publication. Once approved,  your account can post on forum without moderation. We had to adopt this process because of the massive spam attack back in 2018. Sorry for any inconvenience caused!

Interesting, since I've been on this one since 2016 and the older Acronis forums hosted somewhere else since 2011.

Mike, it even has happened to frequent posters - it happened to me a few months back.
