When I click Login on the forums page look what I get....

Who is this... this is not me and I cannot seem to log in on the forums page..

I have to go to the main Acronis.com site and log in and then find my way to the forums..

Virus checked and clean...   What the Heck  ?????

Steve, I would suggest doing a full browser cache clear or try logging in via another web browser to see if the problem is cured, otherwise, it might indicate a problem with your forum account?  If the latter, then send a PM to Ekaterina to ask her to look into it for you.

This rings a bell. I think the same thing happened to me some months ago. I just cleared out the cache and cookies and it was OK. I suspect some problem with the way their cookies were working.

This happens when I click on the Login on the right side of the main forums page.

I cleared and cleaned everything I can think of but still the same.  I can use the "login to reply" on a forum message and I get the proper login request.... but from the maion page ..all remains the same..

I used ccleaner to clean everything except wipe free disk space....

Steve F.

Steve, just logged out and tried what you did. I get the same result as you. I tried clearing the cache and cookies and still it happens.

OK, looks like a real problem with the forum site. The Log In button links to

https://forum.acronis.com/user/login

but the page appearing is actually https://forum.acronis.com/user/276312

The real problem is that you can change the number at the end of the URL and see other names. I found that if I am logged in and go to the /user/login URL, I get my own account page, but if logged out it goes to 276312.

I am able to recreate the same issue so have sent a PM to Ekaterina to ask for this issue to be resolved asap!

Looks like the Log In buttons are now fixed. Thanks, Ekaterina.

I now think there is no problem in typing in a user number as it only shows the public information -- same thing you get when you click on a user name link.
