Acronis Recovery for exchange(build 220), Failed to write data to the specified location
Our enviroment is composed as following:
-Window 2003 R2 SP2 Standard x64
-Exchange 2007 sp1
-Acronis Recovery for Exchange Server version 1.0 (build 220)
Backup of Information Store:
full at 08:00 on sunday
incremental at 19:00 from monday to saturday
Backup of mailbox:
full at 14:00 on sunday
incremental at 21:00 from monday to saturday
the destination for both backups is a network location, \\nas\acronis-bk\db for the first and \\nas\acronis-bk\db for the second one..
The backup of mailbox is going very well, while the backup of the information store give me a lot of problem, after giving me some line of messaggio like
"successful created full backup for the first datastore"
"created incremental backup for first datastore"
for all of my 3 datastore poupup the following error message:

And I got some error messagge in the event viewer like the following:

Hello Oleg, thank you for replying
We use McAfee VirusScan Enterprise + Antispyware Enterprise 8.5.0i, there is no endpoint protection..and in the log of the antivirus I only find this
"10/5/2009 12:32:20 PM Blocked by port blocking rule C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Acronis\DatabaseBackup\Fomatik\TaskService.exe Anti-virus Standard Protection:Prevent mass mailing worms from sending mail 10.100.100.247:25"
This only block the antivirus to send error mail right? is this a problem?
It's a bit strange, same source and same destination, why the brick-level backup can complete and the information store level backup failes..
I did check on the destination directory, a full backup of brick-level is 8GB of file, a full of information store level is about 15GB..
my job of the information store level is scheduled as following:
full at 08:00 on sunday
incremental at 19:00 from monday to saturday
Since a created the job on Monday, instead of a incremental backup Acronis will do a full backup, the state of last backup of the incremental backup is failed, but in the destination folder it created files TIB of 15GB..so what is happening?
My version of acronis is in italian, anyway a attached a log file, hope it will help

The information store level backup fails because it requires a higher network bandwidth. The issue is caused by network dropouts.
To find the exact reason of the issue please obtain the below information and create an e-mail request on this page, under Contact us click on the Start here button and follow the step-by-step guide.
1) The log file of the failed operation.
2) The exact model of your NAS drive.

In attachement the log of the last incremental job failed..
the destination of the backup is a windows share, Windows storage server 2003 SP2
I don't know how to create a e-mail request, many times I tried to do, by clicking Start here-->Technical issue with the product-->I'm using a full version of the product-->selecting the product I got the then three options: "knowledge base", "support forum" and "why no LiveChat/Web form available?"
And I ask my self why? Why no LiveChat/Web form available? We have AAPremier support!! By clicking the last option it link me there http://www.acronis.com/support/faq.html#q16

Hello Andrea,
Thank you very much for the provided information. I have analyzed it and here's what I found:
1. This error is related to network connection failure, as Oleg correctly stated before
2. The cause of this failure may depend on backup speed, retrying option and IRPStackSize, so please check the suggestions below:
-On the PC with your shared folder\nas (not on the Exchange server itself) please check the IRPStackSize key value, as it's described in this Microsoft KB article.
-During the backup creation, please choose Set Up Options Manually, and change the following:
Backup Performance -> Network Speed; reduce it by half.
Under Error Handling please disable "Retry if an error occurs" option.
After that, please try creating backup again. If this does not help, let's exclude this particular shared folder from the list of causes: could you please save the same backup to some other share (on another PC). or to a local drive?
I'd like to make sure all your queries regarding Acronis products are resolved.

Hi alexander, thank you for reply..The IRPStackSize parameter wasn't in my registry, so I added it and set it to 20, is it enough? Anyway, the backup of yesterday failes, with a different error than "no enough storage", the only error i found in the event viewer is the login failed for acronis task scheduler at 9:00PM as you can see from the attached JPG, while my bakcup job starts at 09:30PM..this morning I restarted all service of acronis, and started the incremental job and it's failes with "no enough storage" error and also some other error messagge..I attached the logs of the last two backup job..
