Commandline problem in acronis recovery for MS exchange

Thread needs solution

I have 2 mailbox stores I want to backup to a certain tib file. Sunday Full and rest of the week Incremental. However when I try to get the error message "Invalid CMD-line format" all the time.

What am I doing wrong?

db_cmdline_msexchange.exe /backupIS /location:”z:\exchange\” /credentials:"domain\username:password" /archive:EXCHANGE-01.tib /backupType:Full /compression:High

Thank you for specifying the exact command you are running!

I have checked the command and everything is fine except the db_cmdline_msexchange.exe /backupIS moment: there is not slash required. So it should look like

db_cmdline_msexchange.exe backupIS

Could you please kindly try running this command once again and let me know whether it helped to resolve the issue?

However the credential which can be used in the commandline seems only for the location authentication and not for the exchange.

Second issue is that we archive name is not specified correctly as in the commandline statement. It backuped to 2010_01_21_09_24_01_734S.TIB while I have EX01_EXCHANGE01.tib stated in the commandline.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\RecoveryMicrosoftExchangeAgent\db_cmdline_msexchange.exe" backupIS /location:"Z:\EX01_EXCHANGE\" /archive:EX01_EXCHANGE01.tib /backupType:Full /compression:High

I have tested it on my machine, and unfortunately couldn't reproduce it, so we will need some additional information for successful investigation. Could you please kindly provide me with the following: 

  1. The screenshot of the cmd and the settings
  2. - Download AcronisInfo
    - Run the downloaded file.

    The gathered information will be put in AcronisInfo.zip in the same folder, where the AcronisInfo was saved.

    This information will allow us to take a closer look at the Acronis product state and logs.
