Computer does not deploy...beyond 8%

The master machine is able to clone the slave only upto 8 percent and then it just sits there, although it is not locked up. The slave is booting from an Acronis boot CD. At this time there are only two machines that are just connected to a 10mb switch, no routing, no internet etc. I do not know what the issue has been. Can anyone help ????????
