Migrate Easy Could Be Causing BSOD

Thread needs solution

Hello,

In November I installed a trial version of Migrate Easy so I could clone my files from a 128GB SSD to a larger 256GB SSD.

The software did a good job & everything seemed to be working okay.

After cloning the files I didn't use my computer for quite a while and by then the trial period had ended.

I then tried to uninstall Migrate Easy which was a lot more difficult than expected.

Since uninstalling the software my computer has been randomly showing blue screens & then restarting.

Please help me resolve this problem.

Many Thanks,

Scott

Scott,

What is the STOP number and text when you get the BSOD?

Possibly down to the SNAPAPI driver but not neccessarily.

Hello Colin,

After a posting this thread on Friday, I went looking for more help online & found a website offering a guide on how to remove the Snapman files which had been left behind.

The instructions told me to load Regedit & the exact location where I could what needed to be changed/removed.

Well after following the instructions I rebooted my system only to be greeted by a blue screen after seeing the windows logo.

I have since reinstalled windows with a clean install. :(

The system is running a lot better but now have the heartache of reinstalling all of my large games.
