Snap Deploy 3.0 Template question

Thread needs solution

Ok template is setup and works pushing it to an individual PC but if I set it up to install to 3 PC's and tell it to wait to 3 of them connect it starts installing to all 3 but then 2 of the PC's reboot and the deployment is only pushed out to a single PC.

Any Idea's anyone

Hello hackerjoe,

Ok, let's figure out what happened in this situation and resolve it.

If I understand you correctly, you're trying to deploy 3 PC's with one template, but our program completes only one deployment rebooting two other PC's, is that correct? If yes, could you please provide us with the message from log?

Log file can be found under Tools -> Show log in Management console. Also, have you noticed any error during deployment? If yes, Could you please make screenshot with the error and send it to us?

If you are not familiar with making screen shots, please read the below step-by-step instructions.

- Get to the window which you want to make a screen shot of;
- Hit the (Alt+)PrintScreen button on your keyboard;
- Run Paint usually available in Start\Programs\Accessories or another graphics application;
- Choose Paste command in Edit menu;
- Save the result picture in JPEG format being preferable.

Also, here are some common tips for cases similar to this one:

- First of all, please make sure you use the latest build of the software(3329).

You can download all necessary files from update section in your account.

If you have not registered your product on our web site yet, we recommend to do it in order to receive free updates.

- Choose Product registration
- Enter the serial number for your Acronis product in the corresponding field.

-Check if you have available licenses in License Server

-Check if this licenses match operating system in your Master Image (e.g. if you have Windows Server 2003 in your template, the product will not deploy such image with Snap Deploy for PC's license, rebooting the machine with message about lack of correct license)

-Reinstall OS Deploy Server component, recreate Template and choose Unicast in Specify Settings Manually option

If this does not help, please collect Acronis Snap Deploy Agent logs as it is described here. And attach the log from this operation to the thread.

I would be glad to assist you with this issue and get it fixed. Please do not hesitate to ask me if you have any questions concerning our products.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.
