Snap Deploy "copying files after logging in"

Thread needs solution

After I deployed XP to this PC in question after logging on I always get a Copying File window up and if you canceal it you get a message saying Installation is not yet completed do you want to canceal "yes or no"

Has anyone had anything similar?

What exactly is it copying does anyone have any idea?

Ok I just did a Google search as I saw OS_PATCHER.EXE running in Task Manager and found this -------

I suspected something is going on and it may be its trying to find drivers or something?

Anyone have any suggestions or answers ??????

Can OS_PATCHER.EXE be disabled on startup to solve this ??

Hello hackerjoe,

Thank you for using Acronis Snap Deploy,

OS Patcher component is responsible for system configuration after deployment  (drivers, system files etc). So you should allow it to copy all necessary files.

Please note that you could find detailed information about Acronis Enterprise products in User's Guides.

Thank you.

How long does this process normally take then ??????? It never had any sign of stopping !

Hello hackerjoe,

This process should not take more than 60 minutes (in most cases it takes about 15 minutes to complete and finally boot your OS).

Please send us a copy of %Windows%\Debug\ folder from the restored system (after boot up) and the logs of Snap Deploy "patcher", the names of which look like "os_patcher[dd.mm.yy].log" and are located in %Windows%\System32\ folder.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.
