True Image 8.0, 9.0 or 10.0 for win98 disk cloning ?

Thread needs solution

I have purchased all three versions in the past and some worked
better than others for disk cloning to a larger drive. I got the
10.0 I remember to work with XP but I cant remember which
of the three works best in cloning an older Win98-SE disk
to a larger disk. I thought Migrate Easy might be better
for the job at hand but I guess the True Image products
would probably be more capable. I remember that Acronis
has degraded function sometimes in newer releases but
I cant remember the details.

Hello Scott,

I have answered the similar thread you've opened regarding disk capacity.

You will be able to clone your drive with Acronis Migrate Easy and with Acronis True Image 9.0 Home and earlier (starting from Acronis True Image 10 Home, Windows 98 is not supported).

If you're not clear on how to perform cloning, I'd recommend you to check Chapter 3 of User's Guide, which you can download here. If you wish to clone using Acronis True Image Home, please check Chapter 12 of this User's Guide.

Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.

Thank you.
