Cannot find file

I have been using TI for many years, without any errors. Now TI2018 cannot find the the tib file.
The file exists and is in the correct folder.
Are you trying to force me to upgrade to TI2019?

Why do you call this version perpetual if you kill it after 1 year?

We really need more information to help you sort out the problem.

First, I suggest you repost in the Acronis ATI 2018 Forum as a post there is more likely to get a response.

The following information will be useful:

The version (and for Windows 10 build number) of Windows you are using, and is it 32 or 64 version. Is the computer in question a laptop or a desktop, and is the backup in question on an internal HDD or attached by USB.

What is the context, is this happening when attempting to run the backup or when attempting to do a recovery?
