Cloning- Stuck at "less than 1 minute"... Does not clone working copy

I have bought 2018 Acronis True Image, 5 seats with perpetucal license.  Acronis says it is no longer supported.  This is unfair business practice.  Cheating in nature.  The product does not perform Cloning to full completion. So it is useless now.  Can anyone help resolve the following issue:

I am cloning a 500GB hard drive to new 1TB SSD hard drive attched to USB drive.  The Cloning went on to clone partitions, and then stuck with a dislayed message, saying  cloning will be completed in  "less than 1 minute" . But it has stuck at this screen for 24 hours, and no movement.

I  rebooted the PC and it just stuck at rebooting over and over again, and will not reach Windows screen.

All recent versions of ATI get up to one year of support from the release date of the version plus a further 30 days after the next version is released, so ATI 2018 was supported for a period of 13 months but became unsupported in September 2018, one month after ATI 2019 was released to the public.   This is many times better than Acronis used to offer in earlier versions of ATI which only received 30 days support from date of install or activation!

A perpetual license does not mean you get perpetual support, just that it will continue working for as long as it is used with a version of Windows that supports it.

How are you performing the clone here?

If this is using the ATI 2018 Active Cloning feature which performs the clone within Windows, then please download the MVP Log Viewer tool (link in my signature below) and use this to review the log file for your clone operation. This should provide more information on what is happening with the operation.

If you are booting from the Acronis Rescue Media, then the Log is found in the application panel by clicking on the option for this, but will be lost as soon as you restart the computer.

Please see forum topic: [IMPORTANT] CLONING - How NOT to do this - which was written after dealing with many cloning issues in the forums.
