Which imaging software has the equivalent of TI Survival kit
The subscription model of TI has me looking elsewhere. My PC appears to be reluctant to boot from Flash Drive rescue media which is why having the survival kit on my external drive as well as my images is so useful. Macrium Reflect formats the external drive before putting rescue media on it so updating the rescue media would mean losing my images unless I was prepared to partition the disc, which I am not.

Thank you Steve for your reply, your suggestions are a little above my skill set. Instead I have been trying ,unsuccessfully to create Rescue Media on a 16 GB flash drive, I chose Win PE based media but it would not boot to TI. To boot to TI with my external disc I press F11 which gives me a choice of booting to Windows or booting from the external drive. I attach a photo of my BIOS, my 16GB flash drive was inserted but I coul find no evidence of it in the BIOS, 1st choice is UEFI Hard Disc, 2nd choice is UEFI CD/DVD, 3rd choice is CD/DVD HLDTSTBD Re. How do I get the BIOS to detect my flash drive Thank you in advance
Peter

Peter, first question - did you have the 16GB flash drive plugged in to your PC when you went into the BIOS settings - it needs to be plugged in to be shown as an option?
Next, see webpage: How to boot your Windows 10 computer from a USB drive - for details of using the Windows 10 Advanced Startup option of 'Use a Device' to boot from your USB drive without having to go into the BIOS settings.

I think I have solved it though. I created a Survival kit on the 16 GB flash drive rebooted, pressed F11 and chose the Toshiba drive to boot from and it worked so the BIOS is no longer involved although my choices were Toshiba Partition 1 or Toshiba Partition 2. I don't understand that but there are many things in life I do not understand Thank you again Steve. Being nearly 80 does not help either
