Change F11 key for Recovery

Thread needs solution

My Medion computer uses the F11 key voor system recovery and can't be changed.
How can I change the F11 key from Acronis True Image Home 2012 for example in the F12 key so I can use both key's?
If it can't, I prefer the F11 key from Acronis. Can I install Acronis True Image Home 2012 without a conflict with the Recovey key from Medion?
I work with Windows 7 (64)

It can be changed.
Acronis True Image Home needs to be installed first.
Before making any changes, deactivate the F11 Startup Recovery Manager (if already activated).
On my system I have three files that I modify, you may not have all three.
I needed to give "full" permission to the "users" group to each of the files to allow saving them.
The three files I have are:
f11.cfg
f11-efi.xml
f11-grub.cfg

These files are located on my Windows 7 32 bit system in:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome

On a 64 bit system they are located in:
C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome

Use a text editior, (such as Notepad) open each file and replace references to F11 with F12 and change the bootcode string from 389 to 390 (for F12). Save each file, but DO NOT CHANGE the file name(s).

Reactivate the F11 Startup Recovery Manager and reboot to try it out.

Other bootcode strings for F Keys:

F1 corresponds to 315
F2 corresponds to 316
F3 corresponds to 317
F4 corresponds to 318
F5 corresponds to 319
F6 corresponds to 320
F7 corresponds to 321
F8 corresponds to 322
F9 corresponds to 323
F10 corresponds to 324
F11 corresponds to 389
F12 corresponds to 390

Thankx for your reply James.
I see it is an old topic.
One more question: How do I deactivate the F11 Startup Recovery Manager? I can't see the Service under MSCONFIG.

Look under Tools and Utilities in Acronis True Image Home program and choose Startup Recovery Manager. It will then ask if you would like to de-activate it.
