I have a single sata drive that I am trying to clone over to a raid 0 on a promise fasttrak tx2650 controller. When I try reload from the recovery media it does not see my raid 0. Is this a compatibility issue?

The recovery disk you create or download from your Acronis account is based on Linux. It does not have support for every kind of controller used in Windows. If you have the Plus Pack for Acronis True Image Home, you can create a WinPE based recovery disk. The WinPE disk also does not have every controller driver in it, but drivers can be added to the WinPE image.

Why is there no bootable media which includes Plus Pack? Or a procedure which start a job and loads extra software/drivers? I give some money for it.

When I attempt to create a PE disk through the Acronis WinPE Disk Builder I keep getting a message "Error occurred while creating the image". Is there a log file I can look at to see what the error is? I do have the controller driver so if I can get a image I can add the drivers and be able to recover my raid if it were to crash.

I am not sure where the error log may be for WinPE Disk Builder. Did you download and install the Windows AIK? Did you follow the procedure in http://kb.acronis.com/content/23882?

Yes, I followed those directions and the error comes at step 8.

***Update: I found that bitdefender blocked the initial process but I can't figure out how to get it to run. Even after saying it is a safe program to run I still get the error.
