backup task schedule..... problem
I would like to schedule automatic backups every day. I did everything, just that I have the problem that I automatically creates a backup file name. how can I do? I follow this guide:
Open Acronis True Image Create and Configure Backup Locations Create backup location Create a folder where to place the backup Remove the tick size to share location and day storage limit Choose the number of backups
Now we go to backup plan Operations and then click Schedule Task Select My Computer Select the disk you want to create the backup Now we are going to choose backup locations and clickiamo and then the backup location created above Choose how to use, preferably full backups Set the options manually Set the priority if you want a fast backup with greater utilization of resources or a backup slow with less-exploitation; in additional setting, then go up the archive validation to select and deselect the other voice Set how often you want to backup, the time
You can then change both the location of the backup schedule.

In Acronis True Image 11, in order to use automatic retention rules / cleanup rules, you must create a "Backup Location". This is not just creating a folder to place your backup in. After creating a "Backup Location", when selecting the destination, you would need to select the "Backup Location" item in the list. If you create a backup in the "Backup Location", you will not be able to change the file name, as it is automatically generated. If you choose to create your backup to a location any place other than in the "Backup Location", you can then use what ever file name you wish, but the retention rules / cleanup rules for the "Backup Location" will not apply.

thank you for your reply, but i have problem with the generation the name of backup automatically. with the guides i don't resolve my problem you help me, please? the name that acronis write is backup and not NO FILE NAME IS REQUIRED IN THIS AREA..... WHY????

I don't think you have created a "Backup Location" yet. You have created a location in which to store you backup files, but you have not defined that as the "Backup Location" in Acronis.
