command line switch from cd

Hi all new to this took some time to find how to post my thread ;( my qusetion is this can I make a bootable cd which will run acronis and involk a command switch to automaticatly make an image of say c:/ to partition d:/ I have been using a well known program to do just this along with another disk to reinstall the image back onto c: problem is the software will not work with vista or win7. (I have purchased a full copy of Acronis true image 2010).

As far as I know, there is no way to create a standard TI Home CD that will automatically create a backup image. It may be possible to use TI in a BartPE or WinPE CD and have a program/macro-type setup configured to create the backup, but I haven't tried it.

Hi mudcrab thanks for the reply,I think you might be right I have put it onto a bart cd but I was trying to take it further by automating the process (as I did with ghost) as I find acronis is a better product. Do you know if there are any command lines usable with true image?
