If I want to copy a backup to a 2nd storage node after the backup completes, does the backup get copied from one storage node to the other (or even through the AMS if it's separate) or does it copy the backup from the original machine being backed up to the 2nd (or 3rd) replication location?

Also, is it possible to only copy a monthly backup to an offsite location as opposed to EVERY backup after it completes?

Hello Carl Constantine,
1) yes, the backup will get copied from one storage node to the other. But the original machine has to be online because it tells the storage node to start copying.
2) no, you can copy EVERY backup.
