How to create a CD Boot Disc from within True Image Home 2012

Thread needs solution

Hello, as per title - how do I create a boot disc from within the program?

I did create one upon new installation, but want to create a second one for storage at a seperate location, but I can't seem to find the option inside the program interface to create one.

The help files don't give any info on this either.

Surely there's a way to create a boot disc?

Thanks in advance.

You should have a menu option of "Create bootable media".

Also, a second location is inside the "Tools" menu.

If you do not find it in either location (which is rare) , you may not have installed the "Rescue Media Builder" option and you will need to do restart the TrueImage install program and choose the manual or alternate option so you can check off the media builder option.

When creating the CD, place the cd in the tray but leave the tray open. Allow the program to close the tray.

That's not possible with a laptop.

True, then close the tray and try again. Some computers have difficulty with the closed tray method and will require other methods such as creating a iso and burning the iso; or using a flash drive.
