Cloned Drive not bootable

Thread needs solution

I am using Easy Migrate 7 to try and clone my system drive. All of the files transferred properly. I took the old hard drive out, put the cloned drive in. I have no other drives in the computer and no usb storage devices attached. However, when I start the computer, I get a message saying that the drive is not bootable.

It is possible that the drive hasn't been made active. Do you have access to either a Disk Utility or another PC that can have the drive attached via USB to check if the active flag is indeed active?

Another alternative is to try reverse cloning whereby the old drive is in the USB caddy and the new one in the PC, this sometimes forces the right disk flags to be transferred over.
