Using Universal Restore on Windows 8?

Thread needs solution

Hi there!
Will it be possible to use Universal Restore (Plus Pack) on a computer with Windows 8 since Microsoft has now introduced Secure Bootloader, which will be embedded in all W8?

Thanks.

Plus pack is for True Image Home, that is discussed in another forum (http://forum.acronis.com/forums/acronis-true-image-home-discussions/acr…) , you can move this thread there if it is so.
If linux-based bootable media doesn't get recognized as 'trusted', you can use WinPE-based medi or turn off secure boot in bios (temporary). Universal restore does not alter executable boot files of the Windows that is being restored.

I wille reformulate my question since your answer has nothing to do with mine.
Will it be still possible to use Plus Pack to migrate a computer system on a computer where Windows 8 is installed with the Secure Bootloader?
Thanks.

migrate a computer system on a computer where Windows 8 is installed with the Secure Bootloader?

I understand it as you have an existing computer A with uefi-based* OS , computer B with Windows 8 preinstalled and secure boot turned on, and want to use universal restore to migrate this OS to computer B.

It's possible to turn off secure boot in BIOS. If a particular system doesn't allow it for some reason, (up to inability to boot bios-based OSes from MBR disk) i.e. not implementing p21 from quote there - http://www.eightforums.com/general-discussion/4678-windows-8-can-block-… - it's a bad motherboard, not a big deal since there a lot of bad motherboards.

Thanks.
