"Upgrade" from TI 2012 to Family Pack
I noticed that there is now a "Family Pack" on offer - is it possible to upgrade from a single PC license to the Family Pack?

Thanks James - I'd searched, but probably not on the right keywords. It was a long shot, but worth a try.
My last upgrade to 2012 was less than a year ago, so my standard support doesn't expire until Feb '13, and I wanted to align the expiry dates on extra licences with the first one. Some companies will let you do this - Symantec did, surprisingly - so I'll contact Acronis see what they say.

Posting this in case it helps anyone else - it turns out there is an upgrade path:

As I have been using TI since v8, I can use the "Upgrade my Family Pack" option using 3 different serial numbers from previous purchases. If I only had 1 serial number, there's an "Upgrade to Family Pack" option, which would cost slightly more, but still cheaper than buying a new full FP licence.
I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. As Acronis only offer 30 days free support, I hadn't thought that highly of their customer service, but being able to use older serials is a nice way to reward loyal customers. And the lady I spoke to in live chat was very helpful and professional, a stark contrast to some other live chat experiences I've had with other vendors. It seems you can't really judge support until you have the opportunity to use it. Excellent, Acronis, thank you!

John,
Version 2013 is in beta testing so you may want to delay until its release--whenever. Free updates from a 2012 purchase to a newer version is usually only within the preceding 30 days of purchase from 2013 release date--but I do not speak for Acronis.

Thanks Grover. Unfortunately I didn't check back here until the weekend, by which time I'd already bought the upgrade, but thanks for the tip anyway. I needed it this week so not sure I would have waited anyway - and there's usually an upgrade discount.
I wish Acronis would offer a subscription, I'd be quite happy to pay a yearly fee to get support and free upgrades.
