Creating image of second system drive on computer with 2 OS
I have 2 OS on my computer - Win XP (drive C) and W7 Ultimate 32 bit (drive D). By standard windows tools I've created backup image of Win XP (drive C) witout any problem. But using the same tools in case of W7, the system Picks up both the drive C and the drive D, but I need only image of W7 Ultimate 32 bit (drive D). Maybe the reason is in loader on C:.
So the question - how to create a backup image of W7 Ultimate 32 bit (drive D) + OS loader without image of outdated Win XP (drive C) by Acronis True Image 2012 Home?

No. My drive is laid out as:
XP
W7
There is no "System partition (no drive letter)"

XP will be the System partition. You would need to deselect it (TI will select it automatically because it's the System partition).
Just be aware that the booting files are on the XP partition. That shouldn't cause a problem with normal restores to the same drive. However, if you want to restore just the Windows 7 partition to a new drive, you will need to do a boot repair before it will boot.

How to do a boot repair without System XP partition?

You would normally boot to the Windows 7 installation DVD or Repair Disc and let it fix it (may take two or three times before it gets it all). If you're preparing before that point (for example, removing the XP partition), the booting files can be moved to the Windows 7 partition.

Is correctly understood you, that I first need create a system Windows 7 Repair Disc , and then boot from it? And after that, what item I should choose?
