Synchronization vs Non-Stop Backup

Thread needs solution

True Image Home 2010 user currently trialling TI2013.
Win 7 Professional 64-bit

Am having trouble getting my head around how I could make best use the new (at least to me) features in a typical home user environment.

Grateful if someone could explain a typical usage scenario for:
1. Synchronization
2. Non-stop backup

And why I would use one over the other - because they both seem to be capable of providing a similar result.

Thanks

Synchonisation allows two or more PC's /tablets/phones to share data and keep it up to date between the systems, it also allows with a subscription for the data to be uploaded to a central place (the cloud) and other people can access the data.

Non Stop Backup is for one of more of your disks to be constantly backed up and only you and your PC have access to it.

Thanks for clarifying that distinction Colin.

Will incorporate Non-stop backup into my overall backup and recovery strategy.
The ability to target specific objects provides a quick and easy previous version control feature.

The cloud.. Well, maybe later. I'm not convinced on that one yet.
