Too many activations

Thread needs solution

I bought acronis 2012 in Jan 2012 and in Aug I upgraded to 2013
A couple days ago my mb/hard drive died. I put another motherboard and hard drive in the same case and loaded a copy of Win 7 Pro (old one had Xp) I loaded 2013 (had to put in my 2012 serial as 2013 is an upgrade) when i try to activate it, It says too many activations. I select deactivate previous activation and it takes me to a web site and says " sorry your request cannot be processed Error Administrator has been notified Please try again later" Has done same thing 20 times Anyone else having these types of problems?

Did you follow the guidelines in this article? http://kb.acronis.com/content/34260 You should be able to follow the procedure to move the license to a new machine, chosing your existing installation as the one to disable. You should then be able to re-activate. If this is the procedure you were following, there could be a problem with Acronis not having the Server side updated properly for 2013.

Yes followed that exactly but never get to the screne to deactivate anything Step # 3 on the (IF the new computer is connected to the internet)
thats when the
" sorry your request cannot be processed Error Administrator has been notified Please try again later" comes up

Do you get the error message when you try to install True Image 2013 or when you try to install the Plus Pack?

If you are trying to install the Plus Pack first this won't work, TI 2013 needs to be installed before th ePlus Pack.

I have the exact same problem. My machine that had 2013 died and that 2013 installation does not exist. On this pc I reinstalled 2013 no problem, but it keeps telling me to activate. I click deactivate the other and it goes to acronis site and says

Sorry, your request cannot be processed

Error. The administrator has been notified. Please try again later.

And it has been doing this for about 5 days in a row now. I''d like to get this settled.

I restored the old dead pc and it is using a separate full 2012 licensed acronis.

Note the other pc is 2012 and this poc I have issues with is 2013.

The online de-activation process appears to be broken.

You can de-activate the license assigned to your system, and re-activate it following the instructions in this post:
