[DUPLICATE] Is TI 2013 working properly (install, backup, restore)?
Most of us remember what disaster True Image 2012 was initially. I replaced the long-running backup program to other.
My question for advanced TI 2013 users is, are Acronis learn anything from TI 2012? Is 2013 usable? Still replace some Windows drivers or so? Is it much better than 2012 was? Is it stable?

I myself gave up on the thought of upgrading to 2012 due to the dismal reactions. Truth is, I've been an ATIH user for many years (since 2004 or so...). The builds have been inconsistent year to year...some years have just been better skipped. At this point, I'm not sure why I don't just use one of the good freeware versions that are out there. I don't really need the bells and whistles, i.e., NSB, scheduling, the cloud, etc. I just need an imaging program that consistently works and isn't "gummed up" with a boatload of extra features that I'll never use.

I had the 2011 TI and upgraded to the 2012 Plus Pack and I continuously get the message to upgrade to 2012 even though I have and even though I've followed the KB articles on how to get around it. Am I going to get this same result by upgrading to 2013??
The other factor for me is that it seems when TI begins to back up a disk, it at times will use so much resources that while its backing up you cannot perform simple tasks, in fact in some cases I would simply not be able to use the computer at all; and this is on 8GB Ram, 3GHZ Dual Core running windows 7. So what am I to expect from this release? I've come close to dumping this whole software for windows own back up option.
