Harddiskpartition not found by Acronis True Image 9.0 (build 3'694)

I have installed my Acronis True Image 9.0 (build 3'694) in a VirtualBox Area on a Ubuntu 9.10.
True Image is not installed in device c: but in device e:\Programms.

When I start Acronis True Image I can only see two Partitions (C: and D:) but not device e:\Programms.

So I'm not able to create a image from this device e:

What's the problem? Do I have to install Acronis True Image on device c:?

The first time I started True Image, device e: appeared for a short moment with the information, that the device has unknown data on it.
In Windows XP (included in VirtualBox) I can see the whole device and read all data - as if there were any problems with the device.
