Number of installations allowed

Thread needs solution

Hello,

And sorry for my bad English,

After first crashing a hard disk, then buying a new computer a few mont later, I am not allowed to install my program True Image 2012 one more time.

Is it possible to be allowed to install one more time this programm ?

Impossible to join someone to help me on the hotline...

I also tried to use the "Acronis Pay per incident..." service, I paid a ticket (ref. : 35 80 20 54 ) but I could not use it : error message "deployment il not set" !

Who can help me ?

Thank you.

M.

Please see this article. http://kb.acronis.com/content/22154

Thankyou for your answer,

But my problem is not to move one of my existing installations to a new machine.

Actually, i have no more valid installations, because :

- my hard disk first crashed (on my laptop), and I bought a new one;
- then I also bought a new desktop, and did not save or back up True Image program befor destructing the (very) old machine.

In fact, I did not realise that the number of installations was limited. And may be did I install the program another time (?), on an other PC that I used temporarily ...

Could you tell me please :

a) if it is possible ti be allowed to install the program on more time ?

b) How many times is it normally allowed to install a new version ?

Thank you, and sorry for my rough English

Please follow the instructions in the KB article I mentioned in my earlier post. You can use it to remove the activation from any listed system (including your current system), then you will be able to activate your current installation. You can install Acronis 2012 more than one time, as long as you move/delete the previous activation using this procedure.

James suggestion resolved the issue.

Just a question please : is it possible to install a only licence on two computers (both desktop and laptop) ?

Thank you.

MD

Each computer needs it's own license. If you are interested in having more than one license, you may want to consider the Family Pack option. Contact customer service to see if they can provide you with a cross upgrade to the Family Pack. It uses one serial number for activation on up to three systems at one time.
