HDD clone to SSD fails
I am trying to clone my main Hard drive (HDD) to my new SSD plugged in over USB. After Computer restarts at total process around 75% I get:
Suberror:
Text: Fdisk operation has failed.
Code: 3539346
Suberror:
Text: TEXT_FDISK_ERROR_OP_COPY_GROUP
Code: 1060881
Suberror:
Text: TEXT_FDISK_ERROR_OP_COPY
Code: 1060879
Suberror:
Text: The MBR driver failed to write the MBR table
Code: 1082382
Suberror:
Text: Failed to write to the disk.
Code: 1098756
Suberror:
Text: Unkown status.
Code: 9
Suberror:
Code: 4026531857
I have read to install the new SSD drive into the computer and plug in the main old Hard Drive over USB and use Acornis bootable disk and use the clone feature on there.
Would that be correct in my case too.
Thanks for any help.

I just want to make sure. I have made a full back up and you want me to restore that backup to the new SSD?
Do I use Windows Interface or do I use bootable disc.
Sorry first time doing this.

Yes. It's better to use bootable disk and have the SSD attached to the internal connector instead of HDD to avoid any glitches that may be introduced by USB bridge. This method (backup+recovery) is ofter suggested to users of True Image home.

I have a similar issue.
Acronis workstation with true image, version 10 update 3
When trying to clone a boot SSD disk to another SSD disk, it fails at 45% with the following sequence:
Text: Failed to execute the command in the environment
Code: 3539345
Suberror:
Text: Fdisk operation has failed
Code: 3539346
Suberror:
Text: TEXT_FDISK_ERROR_OP_COPY_GROUP
Code: 1060881
Suberror:
Text: TEXT_FDISK_ERROR_OP_COPY
Code: 1060879
Suberror:
Text: Block bitmap corrupted
Code: 458774
Press to reboot.
At first I attempted doing the disk clone to the new SSD while it was connected over SATA to USB converter. After seeing this thread, I've moved the disk to the internal SATA III connector with a shielded SATA III cable - the error remains the same.
Doing low-level format on the new disk doesn't return any errors. Doing disk check on the source disk doesn't return any errors. Source disk OCZ Vertex 256GB, target disk Corsair CSSD-F512GBLX, "as is" copy (not proportional), motherboard EVGA X79 Dark, SATA ports configured as AHCI.
