Can True Image do this? (perfect OS drive clone)

Thread needs solution

Hi there,

Sorry if this has been answered before, I tried looking around the site but there seems to be so many different methods of backup, I'd prefer to get a direct answer before I purchase True Image.

So, I have a home office with 4 computers - one of these computers is a Windows server. I would like to regularly create system 'images' of the 3 other computer's operating system then store these images on the server.

The 3 computers all use SSD's (ranging from 128GB - 256GB), so in the event of something catastrophic happening to one of the PC's, I could just plug a new, empty SSD into the server and have True Image 'load' the most recent image of the relevant system onto the SSD (without having to reinstall Windows or anything).

Is such a thing possible with True Image, and if so, could you point me in the direction of which options I would need to use within the software?

Thanks,
Fred.

Yes, it is possible, but you have to do this to make sure:
- download the trial of ATI 2013,
- install it on one of the PC,
- create a disk and partition backup including all partitions of your SSD, store it on the server,
- create the recovery disk,
- boot the computer on the recovery disk and try to recover a couple of files from the backup.
