Please Wait Hangup

Thread needs solution

When I try to do a backup and hit "backup now" I get a message saying "Please Wait" and it hangs forever. I have to terminate the ti process in Task Manager to stop it. I've tried repair and complete removal and reinstall with no success. Thanks

When you tried the complete removal did you run the Acronsi install cleaner in addition? It might be something has been left behind from your previous version.

In Task Manager how many instances of True image are shown?

Is the firewall blocking TIh from running?

Are all the TIH services running?

I removed all Acronis apps and ran Cleanup2. I reinstalled it and now I don't get the please wait and I can add backups to the list but now when I close TI and observe task manager there are two incidents of "Trueimage.exe" still running with varying amounts of activity. I would think all of those would stop when the program was closed?
