Acronis True image 2012 BSOD on install.
I bought and installed True Image 2012 a few months back and it worked like a charm on my Lenovo W510.
I recently attempted to use it to recover a backup image and it failed. I wound up having to do a full factory restore on the laptop. so upon installing the factory OS and updates, It Blue screened on me and the only way I could get back to the desktop was to use a windows system repair disc.
After the system repair disc works its magic and I get back to the desktop, I attempt to use the uninstaller/cleanup tool it removes the program and I reboot and tried it again, same thing.
So after 3 more attempts, It gets to the point that the system repair disc wont even let me back in and I have to factory default again. I then tried it with zero updates, just a fresh install of windows and it bsod'd once again.
What happened to this program??

After all heck broke loose, I figured the backup was corrupted so I deleted it.

One option to try:If your backup was a full and complete disk/partition backup which included all partitions including the non-lettered partitions, why not try try restoring the backup as a entire disk restore.
Sign up for the 2013 trial and download only the iso file. Burn the iso file so you have a 2013 Bootable Recovery CD.
Then do a complete disk restore as per item #2 at this link using the 2013 recovery CD.
